Spice Girls are, are not, are, are not reuniting for a new tour!

Late last year, it was announced that the Spice Girls would be reuniting for one final tour. And then, 24 hours later, the tour was cancelled. Approximately 36 hours later, the tour was back on with Posh Spice aka Victoria Beckham on board. Then on Wednesday, the tour was cancelled.  By Thursday, it was announced that the remaining four, Mel C, Mel B, Geri Horner, and Emma Bunton would tour, but with a hologram of Posh Spice. On Friday, Beckham’s lawyer filed a suit to have the tour cancelled with the hologram, because she announced she would join the others on tour. When word got out that the reason for the tour was to help Mel B. with her financial difficulties and bitter divorce, Mel B. pridely backed out “because of these outward lies.”

Later that afternoon, when her one remaining accountant, a friend of the family, revealed she was having major financial difficulties, and was in fact going through a major divorce, Mel B. was back on board. The remaining Spice Girls, after packing, unpacking, packing, and unpacking again and then hearing Mel B. would finally join said they were unfortunately too tired to pack again, and the tour was off.

But then when the group was asked to perform at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the tour was back on, until it wasn’t. The group did agree that if they had enough to drink at the wedding, there might be some semblance of a reunion, but only in the form of karaoke.

So as of this writing, the Spice Girls will not be reuniting for a tour beginning this summer. Wait, hang on a second…
