Woman to become princess or something
Prince Harry has officially popped the question to American actress, Meghan Markle. Ms. Markle known from the TV show Suits and the game show Deal or No Deal will then some time in the future, presumably, become a princess. I guess.
All of Great Britain is abuzz as Ms. Markle, who used to open boxes for a living on TV, will be bestowed a royal crown and grant her powers that no one is 100 percent on. “We all love her, I think she is going to make a fabulous princess, isn't it?” says former neighbor Diane Winston.
Sir David Boyle, an expert on British royals, has written several books, and devoted his life to the subject. “Diana technically wasn’t a princess, since she didn’t come from the same bloodline, yet everyone referred to her as Princess Diana. But then, she divorced Charles and kept the Princess title, I think. That being said, I assume Ms. Markle will probably be called Princess Meghan. But then again, who knows? It seems that once you enter the royal sphere, you are forever bound to its demands. Sadly, Ms. Markle will give up her acting career to visit sick kids in hospitals, cut ribbons, and I guess wear a crown. No more freedom.
Sir Boyle elaborated: “And who’s paying for these appearances? Me and every other Brit! We’re buying her shoes, and royal gowns for the balls that we are also paying for by the way." With sweat dripping from his brow, Sir Boyle went on. “This whole system is based on some archaic notion of ‘divine right’, where a monarch is subject to no earthly authority. Oh my god, I can't believe I wasted my life on this crap! 57 years out the window! What have I done, what have I done!?” Said a sobbing, hysterical Boyle. It was right after this self-realization that he was taken away by the Queen’s guards, and never heard from again.
Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself, poor royalties.
